Letter of Protest from Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Wosner and His Beit Din - Defending the Honor of R. Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau Rabbi of Bnei Brak - Elul 1987
Letter handwritten and signed by R. Shmuel HaLevi Wosner, the Shevet HaLevi, with the signatures of the dayanim of his Beit Din: R. Yitzchak Shlomo Unger and R. Yitzchak Tzvi Bernfeld - rabbis of Chug Chatam Sofer. Bnei Brak, [Elul] 1987.
Sharp protest against the affront to the honor of R. Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau Rabbi of Bnei Brak (R. Landau was appointed rabbi of Bnei Brak in Shevat 1986, following the will of his father R. Yaakov Landau. This letter was written in objection to an offensive newspaper article published against R. Landau, by one of the communities in the city who did not approve his appointment).
