A long letter in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Alter Shaul Pfeffer to "The Rabbi HaMeshamesh Mahara"p". The letter deals with communal matters and financial disputes. New York, 1923.
Rabbi Alter Shaul Pfeffer, Av Beit Din of Bitschkov and later Rabbi and Avi Beit Din of the Great Synagogue of Anshei Ungarin and the Maramures congregation of New York. A tremendous genius, author of the three-part responsa "Avnei Zikaron". Great Rabbis around the world sent their hard halachic questions to him. His halachic responsa encompass many in-depth and superficial topics in the Talmud and the Poskim.
