Brooklyn: 1942 and 1946
Two pamphlets with speeches delivered by the sixth Rebbe of Lubavitch on the 18th of Elul, one for the year 1941 and the other in 1945. The final three pages of the 1941 pamphlet contains a Hebrew exhortation from the Rebbe encouraging all Jews to reinforce their faith in the Messianic Redemption in the face the horrors enveloping European Jewry at that time. He then turns to other rabbinic leaders and suggests that they and their congregations add Psalms of deliverance to their evening services during the upcoming High Holidays.
