Printed in the author's lifetime! Binyan Ariel second section (titled Beis Talmud), innovations on several tractates of the Shas, authored by Rabbi Shaul of Amsterdam, first edition, Amsterdam, 1778.

Section A of the Sefer (titled 'Chadrei Torah Vebeis Moed'  containing innovations and commentary on Parashiyos HaTorah and Chamesh Megilos) is not bound with this section B.

Rabbi Shaul Lowenstam of Amsterdam (1717-1790), Av Beis Din of Reisha (today Rzeszów), Dubno and eventually Av Beis Din of the Ashkenazic community of Amsterdam. One of the greatest rabbis of his generation, the generation of the Pnei Yehoshua and the Noda BiYehuda and more. The Chida stayed at his home when he visited Amsterdam during one of his many journeys and writes the following: "and I, the inadequate, merited to greet the Shechina in 1778, whenever I passed by on a mission, and I merited to enjoy his Torah, modesty and perfection" (Shem HaGedolim Ma'arechet Seforim Bet). This meeting took place in the year the book before us was printed.
