Ma'aseh Rabi Yosef de la Reinah with Elucidations of Our Sages' Midrashim, 17th-18th Century

Sephardic rabbinic manuscript, 17th-18th centuries. Manuscript content:

1) Ma'aseh Rabi Yosef de la Reinah (1a-5b). Kabbalist Rabi Yosef de la Reinah from the 15th century became famous for his attempts to hasten the redemption. What became of him is a subject of dispute, and there are several versions of this wondrous tale. We have not compared the text in this manuscript to the printed texts.

2) Segulah request for the high holidays, 'Yesod Gadol B'Gvanei HaNer' (6a).

3) Elucidations on our Sages' midrashim and a Kabbalistic elucidation of seder night simanim - kadesh, u'rechatz (6b-19).

[39] pp, 14x20 cm. Oriental script.

Moderate condition. Stains. Tears with damage to text in the corners.

Tear with significant lack in the final leaf (approximately a third of the leaf remains). Simple binding.
