Diaries of Sir Moses and Lady Montefiore - Comprising their Life and Work as Recorded in their Diaries from 1812 to 1883, edited by L. Loewe.
Elegant edition in two volumes, with the original blue binding, with a gilt impression of the minister and his wife on the front cover and the name of the book in gilt print on the spine. At the beginning of the first volume is a lithograph of the baron - and at the beginning of the second, of the baron's wife.

Very fine condition, abrasions and dents in the binding.
