An illustrated programme for a "Literary-Musical-Artistic Event" for the Society for the Support of Jewish Farmers and Artisans in Syria and Palestine (The Odessa Committee). Odessa, 1906. Russian.
Fine lithographic cover illustration, by artist and illustrator Mikhail Isaakovich Solomonov (Михаил Исаакович Соломонов, 1872/3-1942).
The Odessa Committee of Chovevei Zion was founded in Odessa in 1890, working for the Jewish settlement of Palestine. In 1906, Menachem Ussishkin was appointed chairman of the committee (in the present programme, Ussishkin is referred to as event coordinator).
