A letter from Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Naftali Zilberberg, "The Tzaddik of Warsaw", to his friend Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, one of the great rabbis of Jerusalem and later the Rabbi of the Eida Chareidit. The letter is in his handwriting and with his signature.
The letter deals with the matter of Rabbi Zilberberg's house which is in the Mazkeret Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem, which his son in law (Rabbi Yitzchak Auerbach, the son of the rabbi of the neighborhood Rabbi Menachem Natan Auerbach) wants to live in.
Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Naftali Zilberberg (1850-1930), one of the great rabbis of Warsaw. A student of Rabbi Yisrael Salanter and Avraham of Ciechanow and the "Sfat Emmet" of Gur. Known for his affinity for and his influence on the Old Yishuv in the Land of Israel.
