The comments were written by a great scholar, as is seen by the language: "and it needs in-depth study, so it seems in my humble opinion" and more. 
On page 125, on the topic of Tzara'at (leprosy) on the place of the circumcision, a long handwritten comment:  "Rabbi Hai Gaon left me place to add my own fence...and [I] already wrote this question on a page in tractate Shabbat page 232...and the matter needs expanding and due to the holiness of the book...". It is known that Rabbi Akiva Eiger and his son Rabbi Shlomo Eiger dealt with this topic ( Gilyon HaShas and Gilyon Maharasha). Is it possible that this was written by Rabbi Shlomo Eiger?
