Rabbi Shimon Kunitz served as Av Beit Din of Cifer, near Pressburg. The book was approbated by the greatest rabbis of Hungary, who praise the genius of its author.
Rabbo Dov Arye Ritter (1855-1936), the rabbi of Rotterdam, Holland, was one of the greatest rabbis of Holland. He discovered the forgery of "Yerushalmi Kodashim" and was the first to publish articles and letters on the subject.
