Large pamphlet of handwritten and autographed Torah novellae on the Shulchan Aruch Hilchos Nedarim by the Gaon of Shamlau, Hy”d.
The Kuntress is divided into 3 units on Hilchos Nedarim.
Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich of Shamlau (1863–1944) was an erudite Torah scholar and Hungarian sage in the pre-Holocaust era. Born in Beregovo, he was raised in the midst of his illustrious grandfather the Kol Aryeh and received blessings from Harav Tzvi Hirsch of Liska and Heichal Brachah of Komarno. He was the Rav of Shamlau and author of Shu”t Lechem Shlomo, Even Shlomo and more. The Admor of Ratzfert asserted “In that generation, there was no one who responded to halachah as the Rav of Shamlau.”
He was murdered alongside his entire community in Auschwitz in 1944, Hashem yikom damo.
6 large leaves (12 sides). Page size: 21x34 cm. Bound in attractive leather binding. Good condition.
