Hagaon Harav Shmuel Rosenberg of Unsdorf (1842-1919) was renowned as a brilliant scholar and miracle worker. Thousands flocked to his door to petition for blessings and salvation, and many disciples recounted stories of his ruach hakodesh and the wonders he enacted.
The author of Be’er Shmuel, he was one of the prominent Rabbanim and Roshei Yeshivah in Hungary who disseminated Torah to thousands, many of whom developed into Rabbanim and roshei yeshivos throughout the borders of Hungary.
