The Neological Synagogue on Dohány Street (Hungarian: Dohány utcai Zsinagóga/Nagy Zsinagóga) in Budapest, Hungary, is the largest synagogue in continental Europe and the fifth largest in the world. This synagogue, which belongs to the Neological movement, has been active for over 150 years, and the Bar Mitzvah ceremony of Theodor Herzl, whose house was next door, took place there.
