Daguerreotype Portrait Photograph of a Clergyman
Daguerreotype photograph depicting a portrait of a clergyman, likely Protestant. Housed under glass in a gilt metal frame encased by stamped leather and wood with a red velvet lining. The leather stamped with an ecclesiastical design.

Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Height: 3 3/4 in x width: 3 1/4 in x depth: 1/2 in.
Condition: Some discoloration along the edges of the photograph. Some spots of discoloration to the gilt metal. There is some light warping to the case so that the two halves do not sit flush with each other. The clasps are broken.
