Chinese PRC Famille Rose Porcelain Vase - Drilled
Chinese PRC (People's Republic of China) famille rose porcelain vase with an unusual green ground. Decorated with lovely blooming flowers and vines. While there was likely an overglaze red mark it is now lost due to drilling for lamping.
Height: 9 1/4 in x diameter: 4 in.
Condition: There are no major chips or visible signs of restoration under UV light. There are minute firing flaws throughout; in particular one along the neck, as shown in listing image. Light wear throughout as expected from age and use. There are a few areas where the coloration has faded from time. There is a hole along the underside, presumably drilled, measuring approximately 1 inch. There are a few hairline cracks extending from the hole.
