Chinese Porcelain Flambe Double Gourd Vase
An early Chinese flambe double gourd triple neck porcelain vase with a wooden base. With several labels including two Parke-Bernet labels. Also marked on bottom with the several collection labels. The auction was called Parke-Bernet prior to 1964 when it became Sotheby's Parke-Bernet (SPB) when it was acquired by Sotheby's.
Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985.
Without stand; Height: 9 3/4 in x diameter: 6 in.
Condition: There is a chip along the rim of one of the necks. Crazing to the glaze throughout. Wear to the footrim; the footrim appears to have been ground down, possibly original to production. Wear to the labels affixed to the underside. Light wear to the wooden base. There are five small stickers affixed to the base.
