Rare: Vichal Moshe's book (Kuznitz) first edition - Lamberg 1867
A particularly rare book, Vaichal Moshe, a commentary on the Book of Psalms by the Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Eliakim Beriah of Kazenitz, published by Rabbi Moshe HaCohen, grandson of the Magid of Kazenitz, Lamberg 1868 (1868)
At the top of the book is written the approval of Rabbi Yeshaya Muscat Rabbi of Praga with the seal: "The words of the desert for the honor of the Torah and for the honor of the Rabbi the Tzadik Zitzala"
Signature on the cover page: Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Hartman in Mohairi ... NIV. Ungar (?)
Rabbi Moshe Eliakim Baria Hofstein of Kazhnitz: (1775 - 1788) was the son and successor of the Maggid HaK of Kazhnitz, he also joined in the image of the holy brothers Rabbi Elimelech of Liazhensk and the Rabbi Rabbi Zosha of Manipoli and he was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yehuda Leib of Manipoli and was the son-in-law of Rabbi Elazar Visblom of Liazhensk.
All the days of our rabbi he was hidden in the vessels, and even after his death he did not take his place until he was ordered to do so by the "House of Lublin" and from that time he adorned himself with the tsar of the Rebbe and the Maggids in "Kaznitz" and "Ostravac". Apart from this book, the blessed expression of our rabbi was expressed In many books he authored, such as 'Beer Moshe, Daat Moshe', 'Khalat Moshe' and many others.
It is interesting to note what our rabbi's son, who is not Rabbi Elazar Makaznitz, wrote in his book "Collections of the Rabbis" about his holy father's occupation with the Book of Psalms: Moshe on the Torah, while he was still alive and lived with us, many rose up and opposed him and opened their mouths to the lawless, saying that he cannot learn, only he recites Psalms, and they called him 'Zagar Psalms', and in matters of learning they said that he did not know what was written in the book. And when they printed his book in Beer Moshe on Torah, everyone became dumb, and the mouths of liars became drunk, and the whole world saw that it was full of gibberish and nonsense, almost in the entire Torah."
The Chasidic Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Moshe Hartman: (556 - 777) a learned and accepted student, was born in Safed to his Hasidic father Rabbi Yehezkel Hartman and studied at the Chabad Yeshiva in Hebron founded by the Lubavitch Rebbe. Later he moved to the Old City of Jerusalem .
