Mateh Naftali, R' Naftali Sofer, 2 sections, 1863 - 1865.
Rabbi Naftali Sofer (1819-1889) was born in Pressburg to his father Rabbi Mordechai Efraim Fishel Sofer, a disciple of the Chatam Sofer and circumcised on the knees of the Chatam Sofer. Later on, he himself became a student of the Chatam Sofer, who liked him very much ("because he was one of his most beloved and beloved students, and studied with him until his departure"). Later on he studied with the Ktav Sofer. From 1867 Av Beit Din of Kadelburg and from 1873 Av Beit Din of Ptachi-Neidarf. Author of "Mate Naftali", "Sha'ar Naftali", "Bnei Naftali" and other books .
2 sections of first editions bound together.

Condition: Very fine condition.
