Lot of first editions by Maran Rav Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook: Chevesh Pe’er / Yabiya Omer / Shabbat HaAretz / Orot. Warsaw/Jerusalem, beginning of the 20th century.
Lot of books by Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook, Chief Rabbi of Israel. Includes the following:
1. Chevesh Pe’er, a tochecha for keeping the mitzvah of tefillin according to the halacha. First edition, Warsaw 1901. 24 leaves (missing leaves 17-20). A few moth holes, tape on the title page without missing part, good condition.
2. Yabiya Omer and Shgiyot Mi Yavin by Rabbi Moshe bar Yehuda Leib HaKohen, with the pamphlet Zivchei Re’iya (with a separate title page) by Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak HaKohen Kook. First edition, Jerusalem 1924. The book also has a leaf of handwritten chiddushei torah. [8], 168, 18, [2], 4, [2], 76 leaves. Binding detached, wear on the title page and a number of additional pages, good condition.
3. Orot: Orot MeOfel, Orot HaTechiya—first edition, Jerusalem 1920. [4], 124 pages. Stains, good condition.
4. Shabbat HaAretz, halachot of shviit. First edition, Jerusalem 1910. [2], 9, [3] pages, 39, [1], 55, [1], 17 leaves, 6 pages. Binding partially detached, tape on the spine, good condition.
