Large, handsome silver cup from the HevraKadisha. Vienna, end of the 19th century.
Decorated with professional engraving work of birds. Plants and flowers, made by the artist Karl Kauba, who worked in Vienna from 1889-1891. The cup carries a dedication engraved from the HevraKadisha in Tarneva, Slovakia, to the Chief Rabbi of Tarneva, Rav Meir Mikasa Stein (1868-1933). Stamped, height: 20.5cm. Weight: 201g. Very good condition.
