Lot of books from Livorno, including a Pesach Haggadah in the Tunisian nusach.
1. Sefer Chupat Chatanim, piyyutim for Simchat Torah and one’s wedding day and for brit milah. Livorno 1849. 132 leaves, pocket edition.
2. Dinei Shechita u’Bedikah, in Arabic, by Rabbi Yehuda Shitrug and Rabbi Yosef Shmama. Livorno 1873. 31, [1] leaves. At the end is a kina. Pocket edition. The body of the work has a stamp “Kasher” from the shochet Rabbi Eliyahu ben Rabbi Kamus Wasan.
3. Seder Haggadah shel Pesach, Hebrew and translation “into Arabic of the community of Tunis”, Livorno 1954-57. 44 leaves. Illustrations in green ink. Note handwritten on the title page, appears to be Marathi.
Old bindings, various defects, overall good condition.
