Palestine Post - 10/4/1940 (Jerusalem): On the one hand, "Nazi Blitzkrieg in the North: Denmark Overrun; Norway Fights; Allies Rush to Help". On the other hand, "normal" life goes on in Israel: "New Hadar HaCarmel Market Opened" (Haifa). Two advertisements marking Saul Gordon's resignment from his position of Manager of the Jerusalem Branch of The Palestine Mercantile Bank Ltd., one by the newspaper and one private advertisement, put out by Gordon, himself. 4 pages. 40 x 60cm Horizontal center fold mark (subtle). Natural age stains and a few minor rips that do not interfere at all with text. Good condition.
