Original photograph of Dr. Chaim Weizmann's swearing in framed together with the newspaper "HaDor", announcing his election as the first President of Israel: Chaim Weizmann, first President of Israel, at the gates of Jerusalem". 17/02/1949. The frame is double sided and on the reverse side is another newspaper, also HaDor, from the day after Weizmann's swearing in, with the same photograph as the original photograph in front. The original photograph is signed on the back by the photographer, Paul Goldman, an Israeli journalist photographer, who worked for international newspapers as well. He documented major Israeli milestones including the State's establishment and its early years.
