Selichot, Lithuanian custom - Vilna, 1859. Well-preserved copy with an original semi-leather binding.
On the tite page, a notations: "שייך להרבנית מ' חיה שרה הירשאוויץ". On the last leaf, a notation: "הרבנית מ' חיה שרה קנתה סליחה ...יום פ ב' שמות תרנ"ח.
Rabbi Shneur Zalman ben Rabbi Avraham Hirshovitz (1818-1904) the Rav of Boisk and Goldingen. A disciple of Rabbi Yisroel Salanter. Author of Gilayon Alfas that is printed in the Rif of Shas Vilna.
In 1835, he married Mrs. Chaya Sarah, HaGra's granddaughter.
Their daughter, Gitta, is the mother of the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Genichovsky.
