L’opera in questione, che trova molte varianti autografe dell’artista, contiene figure tipicamente di David Teniers il giovane e variamente ripetute nei suoi dipinti. Si ritrovano soprattutto anche le identiche fisionomie, segno che il modello e il pittore sono gli stessi e non sono desunte. Inoltre, la saettante tecnica compendiaria poco si addice a copisti e imitatori.
