3pc Handwritten Note by Rene Lalique with Strand of Pearls
Incredible grouping comprised of two pieces of folded envelopes with notes handwritten by historical art nouveau jeweler and glassmaker Rene Lalique and one string of champagne-tone false pearls. Includes forty-nine pearls. Pearls were found tucked neatly away inside the folded envelope and were handpicked by Rene Lalique himself. Beautiful one-hundred-year-old fountain pen script reads, Perles Fausses; note written on thin parchment reads 60 petite perles. Note measurements: 10.25"Lx 8"W; 7.75"L x 6.25"W. Approximate pearl string weight/size: 4.9g; 5.5"L.
