Anti Religions propaganda playing cards, made in the USSR, as part of the commnist ideology against religions, including the Jewish religion. The cards also refer to the Russian Orthodox church, the Roman Catholic church, and Confucianism or Shamanism. The King of Jews card, for example, is illustrated with coins and bills on the background. Illustrated by S. D. Levashov. Manufactured in the Soviet Union, Russia, circa the 1930s. Complete set of 53 cards with gilt edges. Set in the original cardboard box. Approximately 6X9 cm. Good condition, wear to the cardboard box, flaws to a few cards, wear.
