Physiognomy is a practice of assessing a person's character or personality from their outer appearance, especially the face. Popular in the 19th century, it contributed to scientific racism, and is considered nowadays as pseudoscience. Printed by the Jewish Printer Levi, Kaunas. Lithuania. Circa the early 20th century. Approximately 36X28 cm. Good condition, creases, stains on the back, tears, wear.
