Olga Kundina (1965), one of the founders of the "New Barbizon" group, is an Israeli artist and painter, who has been painting for the last three decades in a realistic style and from observing the places where she is - Rosh Pina, Tel Aviv, the Bedouin village of Hora, Jerusalem and more.

Kundina immigrated to Israel in 1990, lived in Jerusalem. In 1997 she moved to Rosh Pina, which is considered the most important city in her paintings. In 2014, she presented a solo exhibition in Jerusalem, "Images from Rosh Pina" and included paintings of the city.

In 2005, a disaster happened and a fire broke out in her studio in Rosh Pina, the fire consumed all her paintings. Since then she has two studios in Tel Aviv, and one in Rosh Pina. She lives on the Rosh Pina-Tel Aviv line and gets inspiration mainly from the road from one place to another.

In her works, the artist investigates the Israeli existence and gives a place to the center of the country and the periphery, the city center and its outskirts. She focuses on people on the fringes of society, the daily hardships alongside the rest and companionship, the relationship they receive from the environment and the frequently changing urban landscape, which serves as a background for her cartoons that focus on poetic life situations.
