Haifa Landscape, 2020
Mor Riemer, a young Israeli artist highly regarded and active in the community of Haifa artists, is known for her unique style, in which she leaves part of the wood surface exposed and uses it as paint in the painting.

Mor Riemer (1984) lives and creates in Haifa. Multidisciplinary artist who works with painting, drawing, wood printing and steel sculpture.
Graduated from Artways Art School, Harduf in 2013
Subtraction, emphasis, dissolution or abstraction are some of the central elements in her works.
She works with oil, acrylic, and sometimes charcoal on unfinished wooden panels. The starting point of her paintings is figurative images combined with abstract thought, where the line and the spot are as central and independent as the image they present.
The various techniques and the transitions between them are used by her as a means of studying man and his physical and cultural environment.
