Holocaust Banknote – the Ravensbrück Camp, Germany – 1 Mark – 1944 – Extremely Rare
During the years 1939-1945, 132,000 women and children, 20,000 men and 1000 young women from 40 different countries were held at the Ravensbrück camp. The staff of the camp included about 1000 SS members and 550 female prison guards. According to various appraisals, approximately 40,000 prisoners died in the camp.
Condition: Graded 55 AU by PMG.
