Rabbi Israel Abba Citron, Rabbi of Petah Tikva. An interesting letter in his signature.
1923.
Official paper of the Petah Tikva Colony Committee.
Letter sent to "Ezrat Women" operating the "Mental and Incurable Hospital" in Jerusalem by Pinchas Meiri, one of the community's pioneers and the first of the Petah Tikva settlers.
In the letter above, the institution asks not to remove Rabbi Tokchinski's daughter from the institution as he cannot take care of her due to his financial situation.
Rabbi Citron joins on his behalf and on behalf of the Petah Tikva Rabbinate:
".. We confirm .. The financial situation of Rabbi Tokchinsky is very bad and we join his request .."
