Teshuvat HaGeonim and Maaseh Rav - Amsterdam, 1707 - Polemics of London Rabbis, Early 18th Century
"Teshuvat HaGeonim" on Hebrew names and accent and "Maaseh Rav" - Rabbinical letters regarding a controversy in the London Jewish community. Amsterdam, [1707].
"Maaseh Rav" cites letters from the Chacham Tzvi and other rabbis regarding the ban (Cherem) of Rabbenu Tam that was placed on a member of the London community by its rabbis. The ban was activated after the abovementioned community member questioned the conditional divorce arranged by a London rabbi for a businessman who was travelling to India, in the event of his disappearance.
