Long (3-page) letter handwritten and signed by Rebbe Moshe David Teitelbaum Rabbi of Laposch. Laposch (Magyarlápos), 1912.
Letter concerning matters pertaining to charity, agunot and help to support a scribe. Following the signature is another passage inquiring about the location of a Jew who traveled to the US leaving his wife bereft and an agunah.
Rebbe Moshe David Teitelbaum (1856-1935), son of Rebbe Yisrael Yaakov Yukel Teitelbaum of Volové. Grandson and disciple of R. Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum, author of Yitav Lev. Son-in-law of R. Aryeh Leib Halberstam Rabbi of Dukla. Served 50 years as Rabbi of Magyarlápos and as head of the local yeshiva. He published many books authored by his grandfather, author of Yitav Lev, and by his great-great-grandfather, author of Yismach Moshe.
