Shulchan Aruch, by Rebbe Shneur Zalman of Liadi – the Baal HaTanya. Warsaw: David ben Aryeh Leib Shklover, 1837-1840. Complete set in six parts.
Two title pages to first volume (first title page concise). Approbation by Av Beit Din of Warsaw, R. Shlomo Zalman Lipshitz [Szlomo Zalman Lipszyc], the "Chemdas Shlomo"; foreword by the sons of the author (based on the Sudylkiv edition; signature of R. Moshe son of the Alter Rebbe, omitted).
This edition was brought to print by Rabbi Avraham Mordechai, son of Rebbe Yitzchak Meir Alter, author of "Chidushei HaRim".

Open tears to title pages of parts I and V, affecting text, repaired with paper. Signatures, inscriptions and inked stamps. Fine new, matching leather bindings.
