Silver medal commemorating the inauguration of a synagogue in Munich, 1887. Obverse: the synagogue building (beneath it is the architect's name, Albert Schmidt). Surrounding it is the legend "Neue Synagogue in Munchen / בית הכנסת החדשה דק"ק מינכען" [The New Synagogue in Munich]. Reverse: the Hebrew legend "In commemoration of the inauguration of the temple on 27 Elul 5647" and an identical legend in German. Diameter: 41 mm. Light dings.
