Ten Bamboo Studio (Shizhu Zhai Jian Pu) - Hu Zhengyan
Ten Bamboo Studio (Shizhu Zhai Jian Pu), a collection of Woodblock prints and gonghua embossing of the artist Hu Zhengyan (c. 1582-1672). Facsimile of the famous edition of the ‘Ten Bamboo Studio’ (Shi Zhu Zhai Jian Pu) from 1644, published by Rongbao Zhai, Beijing, 1952. Volumes 2-4 (out of four). Printed on Xuan paper. Original silk bound case. The booklets are in good condition with light water staining on some of the prints. The inside of the slipcase has some foxing. Two ex-libris labels. Slight wear and light staining on the slipcase.
