ERTÉ: (1892-1990) Romain de Tirtoff, known as Erté, being his initials. Russian-born French Artist and fashion Designer. Autograph signed statement `To wake-up in the morning full of hope for the starting journey´, one page, folio, in French. To the heading bearing a collector´s annotation, ''your life maxim'' being the question Erté responds to. Also indicating to the bottom left corner the date this statement was obtained. Very small overall age wear and trace of a former staple to the upper edge, not affecting the statement. VG
