A Sevres style Napoleonic themed plate depicting The Farewell at Fontainebleau, painted after the 1825 work by Horace Vernet (1789-1863). With a berry-red border decorated with gilt foliate designs and a gilt rim. The underside marked with the title of the piece and a Napoleonic crowned 'N'.

France, 19th century.
