A RARE AUSTRIAN CIGAR HOLDER DRAGON CUP, 19TH CEN.
A cigar container made of cast-bronze in a shape of a beer Steiner with a spout cast as a mythological dragon. The design of this 19th-century Austrian piece was based on the Renaissance piece depicted in the last image along with an image of a different variation of the same cigar holder (please note the last two images are provided for your reference only). The spot has chained lit that functioned as a lighter oil container, the striker is the dragon's crest. Austria, late 19th century.
