Sefer Kanfei Yona - from the basics of Kabbalah books written by the Talmidim of the Ar”i Z”l - as well as a collection of writings from the Ari’s teachings. An impressive manuscript in neat handwriting, with illustrated and decorated title page.

Sefer Kanfei Yona based on the writings of the talmidim of the Ar”i, was the basic book of the teachings of Kabbalah from the Ari in the countries of Ashkenaz and Poland.

In addition to the four sections of sefer Kanfei Yona the manuscript includes, four essays in Kabbala:
Commentary on Mishna Rishona of Sefer Yitzirah from the teachings of the Ari
Commentary on the Idra (Zohar)
Sod Sheva Meoros DeMonin Tevirin
Kabbalah teachings from Rabbi Yisroel Seruk as he received directly from the Ari Z”l.
Inscribed on the title page:
  "I wrote all of this in my own handwriting... the humble Avraham son of Rabbi Yehuda Segal zatzal of Pintschov on Sunday 12th of Adar…..here in the holy kehila of Lanzburg"

 'Kanafi Yona' has undergone changes, additions and edits by Ashkenaz Kabbalists. For the above-mentioned edits with direct reference to this manuscript, see Y. Avivi, Sefunot, 19 (1989) p. 363 and in his book Kabolas Ari p. 315-318.
On the title page of the manuscript is the signature of Hagaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Levin [1721-1800] Ab”d of Berlin and London son of the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Lieb Ab”d of Amsterdam son-in-law of the Chacham Zvi. Brother of Rabbi Shaul of Amsterdam.
