L'Éclipse, a French magazine published in the nineteenth century, appeared between 1868 and 1876. Edited by Francis Polo, the title pages of the issues were illustrated by André Gill. The newspaper was closed for a while after an illustration of Napoleon III was presented in it. Due to the grotesqueness of the illustrations, the newspaper was restricted by the government and forced to close from time to time.
Seven complete issues. (Each issue is 4 pages). Minor tears to margins of some issues. Overall good condition.
