Rare set of Shana Tova cards - Jewish customs - handmade

Rare set of 7 postcard format 'Shana Tova' cards (blank backs) with scenes of Jewish customs, early 20th century.

Each postcard was affixed with decorations of glitter in the form of leaves and flowers and the blessing of "Shana Tova" in Hebrew and French, with a colorful piece of paper in the center depicting Jewish customs associated with Rosh Hashanah: greeting cards, holiday signs, three unfolding books, Seder Tashlich. As well as on the days of Selichot, and Yom Kippur: a wake-up call for Selichot, the Seder of Kapparot.

The postcards were kept by a family from the Mea Shearim neighborhood in Jerusalem. We have not seen another example of these postcards, and it is possible that this is the only set in the world.

Same size: 9x14 cm. Condition very good.
