11 real photo postcards of the French author and publicist Emile Zola [1840-1902], some rare. Close-up photos of Zola from different angles, Zola in his work room, and more. The postcards were issued in the years when Zola was at the front of the war in favor of Dreyfus. Various publishers, c. 1900.
Zola, the great warrior to prove the innocence of the French Jewish officer Alfred Dreyfus in a series of articles published in the French press, headed by "J'accuse", which Proved Dreyfus's innocence to the whole world.
All but one are undivided back. Four were mailed. general condition good.
