Yaakov Mashorer 19 August 1935 - 23 June 2004) was an Israeli expert in numismatics and especially in the coins of Eretz Israel, served as chief curator of archeology at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, and served as a professor in the Department of Archeology at the Hebrew University.
