Yaakov Hefetz is a multidisciplinary Israeli artist, born in 1946.
Hefetz studied art at the Kalisher Art Institute in Tel Aviv, alongside studies with the artist Rafi Lavi, and then continued his art studies in the United States. After his return to Israel, he worked alongside his practice of art as a senior lecturer at the Technion and Shankar.
Hefetz's works include work in a variety of techniques, some of them "earth works" as well as sculptures with a political dimension.
Hefetz's works have been shown in a large number of exhibitions in galleries and museums in Israel and around the world.
