Yuval Shaul was born in Israel in 1961. After finishing art studies, he created sculptures of complex structures made of plywood. In his works from the 90s of the 20th century, he created sculptural structures that emphasized the surface using different materials such as fur. Later in the decade he created a set of maps that use cattle fur as the basis for geographic maps of the world.
