Meir Pichhadze (1955-2010) was an Israeli painter, one of the most prominent and special in Israeli art.
Pichadze was born in Georgia and began studying painting at a very young age, much to his father's dismay. At the same time, he worked in construction. Immigrated to Israel in 1973. Studied art at the Kalisher High School of Painting in Tel Aviv. In the 1990s he went to New York for a few years.
Pichhadze's paintings are special and have a unique language, and he often depicts Georgian landscapes, figures, and objects.
Pichadze presented his works in a large number of exhibitions in Israel and around the world.
