Chinese Famille Verte Puzzle Tea Pot
Famille Verte puzzle teapot (or wine pot / ewer) and cover / stopper with figural (one side is man playing an instrument, the other chasing butterfly) and floral motifs. Colors green and yellow. It is in the style of a 19th C Chinese Qing dynasty but believed to be an early 20th version. Marked China on the bottom. It measures approx. 8" H x 8.25" W x 1.75" D. Provenance: From the grandmother of the consignor.
