Constantine the Great not only legitimized Christianity but stopped persecution. He was the first Roman Emperor who declared himself a Christian.


We may assume that the towers of the Roman Camps were Fire (light) Signal facilities. The Facilities were burned in times of Danger or Battle to warn close Roman garrisons and/or to ask for help.
